Really happy to have been sent these photo's of a recently completed kitchen living space.
The task was to replan the layout of what was formally an "L" shaped hallway, reception room and a separate kitchen.
Forming a utility space and opening the rooms through to the garden has enabled a sociable light space for both entertaining and family life.
Repositioned doorways gives an immediate sence of space and connection to the landscape behond.
I think the owners have done a fantastic job with the work including the refinished beams... Perfect.

Haven't posted for a while just been really busy. Pleased to say another two house extension were passed through planning last week. Happy for the clients 👍

Been rather busy of late so haven't posted for a while, apologises.
Passed through planning today this extension to a farmhouse in the National Park.
This sketch was submitted as part of the application when the rear "step out" section of the proposed new addition was becoming a problem for planning.
Whilst elevations and plan drawings convey the propotion and scale, they don't however portray how it will actually be viewed. We never, in reality see things in 2D, face on.
As in this case the main view will be as per the illustration, where the rear jut out is hardly seen.
It did however seem to get it over the line and secure a decent wide room rather than what could have been a narrower, less practical space.
Really happy for the lovely owners to have got it to a positive outcome for them.
