Packington Open Gardens 2026 🌿

Despite the weather, Packington Open Gardens was a fantastic success, with a brilliant turnout and around £2,500 raised for Packington Church.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in organising the event, as well as all those who opened their gardens and supported such a great community day.

We’re pleased to have supported this exciting residential scheme adjacent to Grangewood Lodge, Lullington Road, Netherseal.

The proposal has secured outline planning permission for two bespoke family homes, creating a high-quality development that responds positively to its countryside setting while making efficient use of the site.

Another excellent result secured within North West Leicestershire District Council.

The site already benefitted from an extant permission for two two-storey dwellings alongside the existing property. Following our client’s purchase of the site at auction, we were appointed to explore opportunities to further enhance both the planning potential and overall commercial value of the development.

After carefully reviewing the site constraints, local housing demand and development potential, we identified an opportunity to increase the scheme to three dwellings, including two high-quality single-storey homes better suited to the local market. In addition, planning permission was secured for the extension and renovation of the existing dwelling, significantly improving its appearance, functionality and value.

A really rewarding project demonstrating how thoughtful design and planning strategy can unlock additional value and maximise the potential of a site.
