PROJECT COMPLETE | Natural Fit Maidstone

We’re delighted to have completed works at Natural Fit Maidstone - our third project for Natural Fit Gyms.

The new wellness centre combines high-end fitness and leisure facilities with an innovative construction approach, including an exposed Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) structure and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).

The completed facility includes a new swimming pool, whirlpool bath, modern changing rooms and a padel court, alongside a major reconfiguration of the car park.

It was a challenging build, particularly through the winter months, but our site team delivered a fantastic result.

A special mention goes to Kane, our Site Manager, who has delivered his first project in the role at an impressive scale. A fantastic achievement!

It's a busy time for our sister company Freedom Living Solutions as four new accessible home projects will be going to site in the coming weeks!

Something very special has started...

Last week we broke ground on a new accessible home project that means a great deal to everyone involved.

Designed around one family's individual needs, this bespoke home will help bring generations together while giving them the independence, comfort and accessibility they deserve.

We're incredibly proud to be part of this journey.

A big thank you goes to the Freedom team working hard on site to get the project underway, despite the recent summer temperatures.

As our latest fitness centre project nears completion, today's looks back at another memorable sports and leisure project.

Kent Structures has delivered a range of design and build projects across the Sport and Leisure sector over the years.

Barn Elms Sports Centre is particularly notable as the only permanent above-ground structure delivered as part of one of London's largest civil engineering schemes.

Constructed as part of the Tideway Tunnel project, the sports centre sits close to the River Thames, requiring several specialist design considerations.

It's a busy time at Kent Structures, with two new projects getting underway this month. While things have been a little quieter on social media, it's certainly not because we've been standing still!

Here's a quick look at the first construction milestone at our Nutra Direct project in Aylesford.

As Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, we're overseeing the installation of a substantial two-storey mezzanine to significantly increase our client's operational capacity.

Project stats:

• Scale: Two-storey mezzanine structure.

• Footprint: Delivering approximately 6,600 sqm of additional operational space.

• Progress: The initial column layout is complete, and the first-floor steel grid is already taking shape.

Constructing a structure of this scale demands careful planning, precise co-ordination and expert delivery.

**New Project Announcement**

We are delighted to have been appointed by Nutra Direct to deliver Phase 1 of a new industrial expansion project in Aylesford, Kent.

Acting as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer, Kent Structures will oversee the fit-out of a substantial two-storey mezzanine floor, creating an additional 6,600 sqm of operational space to support the company's continued growth.

At Kent Structures, health and safety is always a top priority. Which is why we support Hard Hat Awareness Week 2026 - a national campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the vital role of head protection in construction.

It’s a week of activities designed to encourage best practice around safety equipment, raise awareness of head injuries, and educate on the real-life impact scenarios, rotational injuries and how they occur.
