We’re really pleased with the finished groundworks for this fantastic Chart Stables American Barn.

What started as an empty field has been transformed into a fully prepared equestrian space, with all the groundworks completed by the team at Chart Riding Arenas, ready for the Chart Stables American Barn to be built.

The stables are now up and ready for the horses to enjoy, just in time before winter! 🐎🏡

A few months ago, our team at Chart Riding Arenas & Groundworks completed all the site preparation and groundwork for this project. Today, we returned to see the finished result, with this stunning American barn expertly installed by our sister company, Chart Stables.

☀️ Is your arena riding dry, loose, or dusty?

With the current lack of rain, keeping a riding surface in peak condition can feel like an uphill battle. When surface loses its moisture, it becomes deep and creates dust that isn't good for you or your horse's lungs.Here are some quick tips from Chart Riding Arenas to help manage your surface during a dry spell:

🐎 Adjust Your Harrowing: Raise the tines on your grader. Deep dragging during a drought breaks up the footing matrix and releases trapped dust, making the surface even looser.

🐎 Consider Moisture Additives: Products like magnesium chloride flakes draw humidity straight out of the air, keeping your surface damp without needing constant hosing.
