Following recent small business ownership changes, Handy Andy Ashford is no longer supporting further charity makeovers financially. In any way. Be that in supplying furniture or providing funds for makeover projects. After funding this for 6 months. I am focusing on domestic/Commercial work projects. However will continue to assist those charoty projects in motion.

Ok quick update for fellow tradesmen, following recent legislation changes HMRC anyone not registered with construction industry scheme will get taxed at 35%..
if you are registered or have a UTR reference this rate drops too either 20% or zero percent depending on impact to environment. This applies to all contractors/subcontractors.

The only exclusion too this is when single domestic customer pays specific tradesmen direct.

This will apply ongoing too all future works booked or done on behalf of HAA. And includes all works commenced from February this year. This includes ALL charity works as tax exemption has now been removed.for these works.

Ok well apologies for not being around so much been a hectic 2 months to say least. Just want to say big thank you to one of my suppliers Howdens South Ashford for their amazing service. Really stepped up to mark on recent DIY SOS refit. Providing a great designer kitchen at a price within such a tight makeover budget. As well as Topps Tiles for their generous 50% markdowns on SOS tiling materials. Am still after local plumbers to join the hero network.

Feeling energised as project manager. Big thank you to all sole traders that responded so well to recent emergency and charity works i needed assustance with the difference made in a few days of long hours and availability to assist where ever and whenever needed is a big boost the local family small business partnership.still have need of a non slip.floor installer or resin floor installer for the hub project.

Standard contractor day rates

Tradesman from £150-250 per day
Labourers £80-120 per day

Dependent upon work needed

Plus 20% for project total running costs

Access to up 85% discount in materials.

Final invoices generally 10% cheaper.

So works Undertaken and fully insured.
