Last year I had the honour of building this lovely oak framed boot room/ large porch. Now I have just finished the internal wall panelling, with a hidden pivot door to the Anex.
Once the colour has been picked, the panelling will be painted, leaving the custom made oak shoe bench, coat hook, and oak top to the underfloor heating manifold will be oiled to a suitable tint.

And the new funny shaped drawer that goes under the hob, so it have to go thinner at the back, so the hob fans can work efficiently.

Back to do some more work for a client.. this one was a big task. A 9 year old kitchen from a big company, should be a good one..? The clients had issues from the start. Put up with the kitchen until this year. The layout is good but not perfect. So I kept the worktops in place,altered the layout of some appliances, added drawers into units that were previously cupboards, moved up the cookers, built new wall cabinets, new overhead fridge unit, new end panels, new solid tulip framework new drawers, new door and drawer fronts, new bin, new extraction unit, new pull out corner unit, fixed loads of poorly fitted issues.. so they bow have the dream kitchen at half the cost of a complete new build. Kept half the value invested from the original kitchen. And had a working kitchen during the entire upgrade. I forgot to take pictures after the plinths were in. So I'll do another post soon.

Back to another repeat customer. With a second kitchen unit improvement. And a complete bookcase revamp, tray storage and narrow cupboard into 1 cupboard. The original design made and fitted by another joiner years ago had some issues. All sorted now and carried on with 4 more sections off ajustable shelving. All hand painted by Dawn Langley

Back to a repeat customer. It was a mission to get these resin tops done before Christmas... then there were issues and delays with the company making the legs. So the issues have finally been sorted out that I could get the tops fitted today. 🙌

I did a oak porch on this house several years ago. Been discussing the garage upgrade for the past 2 years. I had priorities with another client last year, so I missed the opportunity to do these doors. Now after the timing worked for the oil tank to be moved and made for a better use of space.
New green oak cladding, new oak window. Once the green oak cladding has dried out slowly over the winter/ spring. It will be oiled to match the joinery grade oak I've oiled. Doors to be stained black as a contrast. Happy customers
