We're looking for another experienced fencer to join the team at Olive Fencing.

Most of our work is domestic fencing in and around Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and Aylesbury, with a mix of fence replacements, repairs, gates and decking projects.

You must:

- Have fencing experience
- Have your own transport
- Be reliable and take pride in your work

We've got plenty of work booked in and are looking for someone who wants regular ongoing work rather than just a few days here and there.

**Part-Time Business Support & Administration Role**

I'm looking for an organised, proactive person to help support two growing local businesses based around Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.

The role will initially be part-time and flexible, with hours to be agreed, but there is genuine opportunity for it to grow into something much bigger for the right person.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing customer enquiries and bookings
• Organising diaries and appointments
• Raising invoices and checking payments
• Maintaining customer records and job information
• Liaising with suppliers and ordering parts/materials
• Supporting day-to-day business operations
• Helping keep our systems organised and up to date

This role would suit someone who:

• Loves organisation and attention to detail
• Is confident communicating with customers
• Can work independently and use their initiative
• Is comfortable using computers and online systems
• Wants to be part of a growing local business

Experience in administration, office management, customer service or business support would be advantageous, but attitude and organisation are more important than qualifications.

Initially this role can be flexible around school hours or other commitments.

Experienced Fencer Required – Immediate Start

Olive Fencing is looking for an experienced fencing operative to join us on a project in Milton Keynes next week.

Must be available:
Wednesday 10th June
Thursday 11th June
Friday 12th June

Requirements:
Proven fencing experience
Own transport
Reliable, hardworking and professional
Able to work independently and as part of a team

Location: Milton Keynes

Pay: Competitive day rate, depending on experience.

This is not just a one-off job. We have a growing workload and this project is effectively a trial. For the right person, there is the opportunity for regular ongoing work and a longer-term position within the business.

A reminder that even experienced tradespeople need to respect their tools.

I picked up a small chainsaw injury on site today. Nothing serious and thankfully no lasting damage, but it was a good reminder that all it takes is a momentary lapse in concentration.

At Olive Fencing, we regularly undertake chainsaw training and use professional equipment both on-site and in our workshop. Safety procedures, PPE and proper training are there for a reason.

People often see the finished fence, gate or decking project, but behind every installation is a skilled trade that requires experience, focus and respect for the tools we use every day.

I'll be back at it tomorrow, thankfully
