Dry Leys Farm (formerly Leckhampstead Wharf Stud) is a family run yard, based in Quainton, Aylesbury

Our Facilities:-
-Brand new purpose built yard, including 19 Hancox boxes with sliding doors, mangers and automatic drinkers. 3 stallion boxes. 2 tack rooms. 2 wash boxes (one with over head heater) and taps within.
-Brand new 20x40m indoor school with Andrew Bowen surface and good range of showjumps.
-20m round pen with sand and rubber surface.
-Electric fenced fields with a varying size to acc

ommodate single, pair and group turnout, including separate paddocks for stallions.
-Excellent off road hacking within 130 acres of farm land, and brilliant access to bridleways and surrounding Quainton Hills.
-We also offer stud services and broodmare livery, from getting in foal to all the way through.
-Plans for 2014 include installing a walker and a canter track.

How stunning 🤩 is this chap. He arrived just after midnight. By Ultramar AS II out of Paloma a Pre mare, so possibly a dressage or film career. I think he has looks and presence for both.

This chap arrived just before 4.30am this morning for the Clarke Family. Good strong c**t by Ansign de Lis Z x Aganix du Seigneur Z out of their good OBOS Quality x Quick Star mare. I personally can’t wait for about 5 years time to watch all these babies compete.

And they keep on coming ❤️ this chap arrived at 6.15am this morning for the Clarke Family. By the promising young stallion Excelsior Optimus Z x Ermitage Kalone out of a Denzel V’t Meulenhof X Celano mare.

And another incredible well bred filly arrived safely at 8.45pm last night for Harriet Smith. By one of my personal favourite stallions Dominator Z x Diamant De Semily out of a Ogano Sitte x Heartbreaker mare. Can’t wait to follow some of the class of 26 foals in a few years time.

So this little one is a bit camera shy ☺️ Lovely dun c**t born yesterday evening at 6.45pm (very civilised) although I still watched all night, just to be sure.
He’s by an unnamed Connemara X stallion that goes back to the very influential Connemara Templbready Fear Bul/Obos Quality out of a Barrow Hill Clover/Clover Hill mare. Who doesn’t love a bit of Connie in their breeding ?

🤦‍♀️So I have been a bit late introducing this little lady 🤦‍♀️

So born last Tuesday afternoon at 5pm in all that heat 🥵 not sure what colour she will be ??
By Banderillero VI (pre) out of Lola (Fusion) this one could be heading into film work. With her owners already very well know for their horses in film and dramas like Gladiator, Robin Hood, War Horse and Bridgerton, be sure to look out for her in a few years time
