Another successful heat pump installation completed in Rolvenden by the BR6 Heating team.

We removed the existing gas combination boiler and installed a Grant wall-mounted heat pump, along with a Grant unvented cylinder and volumiser.

The new system was connected to the property’s existing radiators, and with careful system design, it’s delivering excellent performance and efficiency.

🚨 Boiler Repair & Service 🚨

Today we attended a Vaillant boiler that hadn’t been serviced since installation. The customer had a leak coming from the automatic air vent and plastic valve, so we replaced the faulty parts and also fitted a new safety relief valve.

When removing the old valve, we noticed signs of oxidisation (brown water) — a clear indication it had discharged before. We cleaned up the rear mounting plate to ensure a proper seal and set the expansion vessel to the correct PSI.

This boiler is now working safely and efficiently, and the customer is added to our annual service reminder list so they won’t miss future check-ups.

got called to a job for a second opinion on an old boiler.

The customer had been told it was too blocked to service and only a replacement would do. Although this boiler was one of the worst we’ve seen, we took on the challenge 💪. With some patience (and a bit of carbonate of soda magic), we managed to get it running perfectly again — saving the customer the big outlay of a new boiler.

We also found the mega-flow overflowing due to a failed bellows, so we added an extra expansion vessel with an isolator for easy replacement. ✅

The BR6 Heating team recently installed a Grant heat pump in this beautiful 18th Century pub 🍻. With the builder going above and beyond to minimise heat loss and underfloor heating throughout, it was the perfect opportunity for a heat pump solution.

💡 This was our very first Grant heat pump install, and our engineers were seriously impressed 👏. The Grant rep was quick to answer any questions, ensuring everything was fitted in line with manufacturer instructions – making the process smooth from start to finish.

We’ll be back once the electrics are complete to get this system fully up and running. 🔧⚡️

replaced this old Ideal classic recently.
After many years of keeping this boiler going, it was finally time to replace it with a new more energy efficient condensing boiler.

It's a shame to see these old boilers coming out when they were built to last! With noticing the price increases on the parts for these old boilers, they have become extremely expensive to repair.

The customer was happy with a long warranty for peace of mind and a thorough install as per manufacturers instructions.

replaced an old Ideal logic boiler for this new 40kw Vaillant. When carrying out the quote we did a flow rate on the mains water and realized this customer needed a boiler that could maintain a very high flow rate. The .uk boilers give a fantastic flow rate on the hot water.

We also ran a new gas supply to the cooker as the old pipework was all in steel barrel under the floor. With all the new work to be done in this house we highly recommended making the old steel barrel redundant as it can be more prone to leaking.
