Sylvan Joinery in Aylesford,is looking to recruit, for a full time position in the manufacturing of purpose made certified fire doors and frames.
Although no experience of manufacturing fire doors is necessary (training will be given) ,it will require someone, who has had practical experience, is used to working with calculations, and an experience of using woodwork machinery would be useful.
The work is very involved, and requires a great deal of maths and accuracy, as the doorsets are made to a certification process,

FULL TIME JOB IN JOINERY WORKSHOP

Hi we are looking at recruiting for a full time position in our joinery company in Aylesford near Maidstone,

The role is predominantly in the manufacture of fire doors and frames, although it will also require you to help occasionally on other joinery projects as required, the work can be interesting and varied, working with power tools and woodwork machinery will be required

Some experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given,
Any applicant would be required to be practically minded, good with their hands also good with maths, and heavy lifting is required

Sylvan Joinery can manufacture and supply, BWF certified FD30 and FD60 doors and frames to purpose made sizes including complete door sets with all furniture.
These doors can be paint grade or veneered and if required glazed
We also offer the service of spray finishing the doors to any colour required or just clear lacquered
