Priory Park, Blantyre

Connell Plumbing & Heating were proud to deliver the full mechanical package for the new changing facilities on behalf of South Lanarkshire Council.
Works completed included:

-Full first and second fix mechanical installation throughout

-Two fully fitted plant rooms complete with 600L hot water cylinder capacity and pumped hot water
returns

-Copper press-fit pipework installation throughout complete with associated bracketry and insulation

-4 fully fitted wet room shower facilities

-Doc M toilet and shower suite

- Four toilet and wash areas

-Full above ground drainage installation

-New incoming water main installation and connection works

-Testing, commissioning and chlorination completed prior to client handover

A complete renovation, executed with precision and purpose.

This grand project encompassed full first fix gas, hot and cold water, and heating services, followed by second fix installation of two beautifully appointed bathrooms, a new boiler, and traditional column radiators throughout.

The master bathroom stands as the statement space — a refined sanctuary, meticulously planned and expertly delivered.

Large-format porcelain marble tiling, discreet underfloor heating, and a seamless wet room shower establish a sense of quiet luxury. Period-inspired Victorian fixtures and fittings introduce character and elegance, grounding the space in timeless design.

Today, we finalised a comprehensive combi boiler replacement in Ayr, focused on delivering maximum system longevity and operational efficiency for the client. Our commitment to professionalism extends beyond the technical work, including the full protection of the client's property.
Installation Protocol & System Details:

* Property Protection: The entire work area was fully protected using Roll & Stroll floor coverings and Antinox protection boards to prevent damage throughout the installation.

* New Appliance: Installation of the Baxi 430 Combi Boiler (High-efficiency, compact unit).

* Warranty: The client receives a full 5-year parts and labour warranty on the new Baxi unit.

* Pre-Install Preparation: The existing heating circuit was thoroughly cleaned using a MagnaCleanse power flush, a critical step to remove scale and sludge.

* System Protection: Integration of an ADEY MagnaClean Micro 2 filter to provide continuous protection by removing circulating magnetic debris.

* Controls: Modern heating management via the EPH Combi Pack 4 controls for accurate temperature regulation and optimised efficiency.

* Completion Clean-up: The area was vacuumed and fully cleaned upon completion, leaving the premises tidy.

Project Complete – Pencaitland Early Learning Centre ✅

We’re pleased to share the successful completion of plumbing, drainage, and commissioning works at Pencaitland Early Learning Centre.

Our team delivered:

Full plumbing installation 1st and 2nd fix

Above and below ground drainage - testing and signoff

Final commissioning, water testing, and water temperature checks for compliance.
