Workshop-Built Cabinetry vs On-Site Built Cabinetry
There is a significant difference between cabinetry built in a fully equipped workshop and cabinetry constructed primarily on site.
1. Precision Manufacturing
A dedicated workshop equipped with the latest machinery ensures every component is cut with exceptional accuracy and consistency. This level of precision is difficult to achieve using portable tools on site, resulting in tighter joins, cleaner lines, and a superior overall finish.
2. Design, Planning & Quality Control
Building in a workshop allows the entire project to be carefully planned, assembled, and checked before installation. Any potential issues can be identified and resolved in advance, reducing delays and ensuring a smoother fitting process. As a result, installation time on site is minimised and disruption is kept to a minimum.
3. Quality Comes at a Cost
Workshop-built cabinetry will typically cost more than cabinetry built on site. However, that additional investment reflects the higher level of craftsmanship, precision, preparation, and quality control involved. Quite simply, it delivers a better finished product.
