Last week’s tree project 🌲💪

We removed a row of overgrown Leyland Cypress along a rear boundary that had simply become unmanageable. With limited access and tight working space, planning and the right kit made all the difference.

Using our Ohashi 6” tracked chipper, we processed all waste material right next to the trees — no dragging brash across the site, just efficient, tidy working exactly where the action was.

Even better, nothing went to waste. All chippings were reused as mulch across what was a difficult-to-maintain banking, helping suppress weeds and improve the overall finish of the area 🌿♻️

With the correct machines, experienced operators, and strict safe working procedures in place, this job ran flawlessly from start to finish.

The scope for this space was to design a secure sensory dog walking area that was to both stimulate and relax - with a winding stream, some existing mature Willow trees and those rolling slopes - I could see instantly the potential for this space!!

What a beautiful place this has turned out to be - and it’s now 10 years old!!

As soon as Margaret showed me what appeared to her to be barren unusable space in the February of 2015 I could see the potential!! As you can see in the first photo (taken in 2019), it didn’t take long for this space to become truly magnificent place. The second picture is what we were looking at on that cold February morning!

After designing, laying-out and construction of paths, planting, drains, bridges etc, we continued to maintain it all until lockdown days, when John and crew took over and have further developed it since.

If you have a dog and haven’t been yet, this is the perfect safe and private space for tails to wag and paws to roam.🌿🐶

Great to be making the most of the fine weather of late on this new property that we’ve taken on.

The owner was struggling to keep on top of it so needed to call in reinforcements, so called us in. With the Etesia AK98X ride-on brushcutter dealing with the long vegetation and steep bankings and then the Bobcat ZS4000 as a finishing mower we managed to get it up to a decent standard in two visits.

With it being the summer holidays it’s always good to have a helping hand too!!😎 I know, before you all tell me off - he had no ear defenders!

We’re incredibly proud to be sponsoring the Heathfield Primary School boys football team—especially with my oldest boy Munro on the squad! I’m sure you’d agree they look great don’t they!! It’s a real privilege to support this team and our community. We hope the boys wear their new kit with pride and that it brings them plenty of good results on the pitch! Come on, Heathfield!

Some cracking weather to carry out the first cuts to this property today. Laying some neat stripes with the Kubota G23.👌

An unexpected return to this rural estate for us due to a sale falling through, so we will continue to keep it looking in tip-top condition to impress potential buyers.

🎉 We did it!! We made it to the end of our 20th year in business!!🎉

We have now shut down* for the holidays to give everyone some well served rest, so we wish you all the best over the holiday season and will see you in 2025.

Seasoned Firewood for Sale

• Price: £90 per bulk bag of logs. Just ask for bigger or smaller load prices.
• Delivery: Free delivery in Ayr & Prestwick. Just ask if you’re further away.

Our firewood is carefully seasoned to ensure easy lighting and a long, efficient burn. All logs are air dried and covered to ensure all logs are below 20% moisture content on delivery.

All firewood is recycled and processed from work we have carried out locally.♻️

We also offer a stacking service for £36 per bulk bag load. If you need somewhere to store them to keep them neat, tidy and dry let us know - we also provide custom log stores (from £360)!!
