Strada Environmental Ltd were proud to attend the Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) careers event at Ayrshire College - Kilmarnock Campus, connecting with the next generation of talent and sharing insights into careers within our industry.
The event, delivered in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce, provided a fantastic platform to engage directly with students who are exploring their future pathways. Throughout the day, our team had the opportunity to discuss career journeys, apprenticeship routes, and the diverse range of roles available within our organisation.
We were inspired by the enthusiasm, curiosity, and ambition shown by the students. Conversations ranged from understanding day-to-day responsibilities in different roles to the skills and qualifications that employers value most. It was encouraging to see so many young people actively thinking about their futures and asking thoughtful questions about industry opportunities.
Supporting initiatives like DYW reflects our commitment to developing local talent and strengthening connections between education and employment. By working collaboratively with schools, colleges, and partners, we aim to help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world careers.
