Panelling job completed!

Lots of scribing to get everything fitted right, especially with all the panelling being prefinished. There was even a 45mm difference in floor level to overcome!

I machined the dado rails and skirting myself to the clients request. All the panelling is moisture resistant MDF and finished once again in Vernites Waterbourne 1K Acrylic Topcoat Lacquer. Colour matched to Little Greene paints "Cool Arbour".

Added a door to the understairs to conceal the current storage solution with push to open to keep things looking tidy.

A nice little kitchen respray to match the unit I built for this return client earlier this year.

All the lower units are resprayed in Vernites Internal 1k Waterbourne Topcoat lacquer pigmented (matched to Farrow and Ball French Grey No.18). The finish was achieved in two coats of primer and just a single topcoat! I'm really impressed with this topcoat , such a quality product!

I also resprayed the table and bench legs to complete my work in this dining room/kitchen.

More Vernites Acquasoyz Lack 1k acrylic lacquer in white (15% sheen) here from , really fantastic and easy product to work with, and fantastically quick and reliable service from

Kept the detailing simple and it's nice to be able to offer the handles painted to match. I'm thinking I will continue to offer them going forward.

See the last pictures for a before and a image of the design process between me and the clients. I feel it gives a much better visual representation of how I picture your projects in my head😅. Makes the back and forth much less complicated!

Big Media unit installed with movable bookcase shelving.

Finished in Vernites 1k waterbased lacquer from (colour match: Farrow and Ball Stiffkey Blue No. 281).

I really focused on the details here, from the matched paint on the handles and adjustable shelf hardware, building the cabinets to line up with the window ledge and fit under the oak beam.

Really happy to contribute to the finish on my clients new family home!

Recently completed install of a feature wall panelling complete with hidden doors.

The doors are bespoke made to fit the opening, complete with soundproofing.

Panelling is natural rustic oak from WoodUpp.

Two solid oak benches finished up and delivered this week. Made from 40mm full stave kitchen worktop.
Clean and minimal, so I put some extra time into the finishing of them both. Oiled and beeswax polished to keep them looking great for years of muddy boots!

Two bespoke Latvian birch plywood cabinets with quite a unique brief.

The Porch unit needed to allow for access to the electric box, whilst being quite a narrow space to hang coats in.

The TV unit needed to protect the TV from their autistic son and prevent him from climbing the unit. I opted for a non glare acrylic panel for a good level of protection (and reasonable replacement cost) while still giving excellent visibility without distortion of the picture. And I built in a drop down drawer to house a DVD player with soft opening stays. Both the TV and drawer are lockable to prevent access.

I always set out to meet client expectations and suggest alternative solutions that you wouldn't normally achieve via big commercial companies.

We took design, put it into SketchUp and brought it to reality for them ready for the show.

Such a massive wealth of talent on display this year, I'd definitely love to get back doing a build there again!
