Project Update: Home Refurbishment and Extension 🏠

Making great progress on this single - story extension and refurbishment project.

✅ Superstructure blockwalls completed
✅ Steelwork has been installed
✅ Flat roof structure has been constructed

🔜 Next steps will be the installation of the flat roof membrane, first fix plumbing and electrics and external doors and window installation.

Fast progress being made on this new home transformation. 🏠

Our latest project in Carryduff will see this existing home extended and reconfigured across both floors, creating a generous, refined and functional living space.

At ground-floor level, the existing conservatory will be replaced with a new rear extension, forming a spacious kitchen centred and opening into the seating and dining areas. Large openings to the patio will strengthen the connection between the interior and outdoor space.

Upstairs, the redesigned layout introduces an enhanced principal suite with en-suite and walk-in wardrobe, alongside a wider refurbishment of the existing bedrooms and study space.

The result will be a larger home with greater flow and functionality, while ensuring the new additions remain close to the character of the original property.

House 1:

✅ All substructures complete. Timber frame walls, floors and the roof are complete.

✅ The roof has been lathed and felled in preparation for slating to commence imminently.

✅ Solar panels first fix framing installed prior to framing.

✅ Chimneys have been constructed.

🔜 Superstructure blockwork to start, along with roof slating and first fix M&E

House 2:

✅ Substructure complete including foundations excavated, concrete poured, blockwork fittings built and precast concrete sub-floor slabs installed, thanks to
Spanwright Precast Concrete Floors and Stairs.

🔜 Next steps will be the erecting of the timber frame kit.

✅ All demolitions now complete. The foundations have been excavated and paved

✅ The blockwork footings have been constructed

✅ Superstructure blockwork is well underway

🔜 The next stages will be installing steel beams and completion of wall construction

Making big strides with our new-build home project. 🏠 ✨

Here's where we are with it:

✅ The roof structure is now complete. The roof windows have now been installed, with the roof completed using natural slate

✅ Solar panel brackets have been installed in preparation for solar installation

✅ Aluminium framed external doors and windows have been fitted

✅ Decorative stone cladding has been built

✅ First fix joinery is underway, including stud walls. Metal framing for the pocket sliding door has been fitted. First fix mechanical and electrical is underway

🔜 Next stages will be internal plastering and external rending.
