Recently just laid a porcelain tile patio. Previously the patio dropped off massively. Clients removed everything, I dug out and put down the sub base and then cracked in with the tiling.

Primed each slab. In total there was 45 tiles to lay. Had to form a step and a mini slop by the gate to marry in with the existing concrete path and then put a fillet around the sides to marry in where the levels were quite bad.

Resin jointed as well and looking lovely. Looks a little messy as I kept traipsing dust on them but it looks cracking 👍🏻

Catching up on some work that’s gone on. Over a month since this job but was really happy with it. Replacing a timber decking with a composite decking. I had Jordan helping me out and documenting everything so thanks to Jordan for the footage. Looks really nice 👌🏻

Decided to rip out the old van storage and install a vaulted floor and new racking. Wish I never started 😂

Converting Toby’s garage into a gym for them. Roof came off, refelted, tiled and ridges and verges sorted. Insulated inside, boarded and skimmed and snaggy bits sorted. Ready for the flooring people to lay the flooring and for Toby to move his gym stuff in 👌🏻

Making use of the slabs that were removed.

These slabs were capping the wall around the decking. They were all horrifically cut and were not laid properly. After replacing them all and sorting out the original work the clients had gotten done, I said to them about potentially using them as stepping stones to try and make some use of them rather than throw them away.

So I strung the line, dug them in and managed to make something good from them. With a little bit of clear up, this will be ready for turfing and will bring it all together.

Sometimes it’s the little things. I’m just happy to be able to make a proper job of it for them 👍🏻

I’ve posted about this job on my TikTok account but we’ve been gutting and renovating an old house. Floors have been dug up ready for insulation, underfloor heating and limecreting. A few stud walls have been put up and we’ve reused some old timbers and slotted them into the stud work as the clients want to keep an old look and feel.

Roof will soon be off and new rafters installed, as well as solar panels. Steels to go in as well so a bit of prep work for that and lime plaster to go on the walls. A lot to get on with 👍🏻
