This garden was overgrown and unmanageable for the owners. The opening to the pond area had completely grown over, and the laurel bushes had completely covered the windows stopping any natural light entering the bungalow. While keeping a natural feel to the garden, we cut back the laurels and cleared the grass footpath of any debris, widening it at the same time. We cleared the opening to the pond which instantly improved the whole visual on the garden itself. Before and after 🌳 this garden was in need of some TLC and the owner wasn't sure what to do with the wooded area at the back. Weeds were growing fast and were deep rooted so removal was only a temporary fix.
Following discussions we decided to lay down a membrane to prevent regrowth, followed by decorative bark. The area on the left had a noticeable area of grass missing which was dug over thoroughly and reseeded. The bed was planted with roses as a statement feature and after care advice was given.
