Are you enjoying this glorious weather? ☀️

We've been making the most of the sunshine and have just wrapped up this lovely little project 🫡

Our clients were looking for some outdoor storage that would blend in comfortably with their beautiful Horton stone home, so we built these bespoke cupboards using reclaimed timber to help them blend naturally into the space.

We love how naturally they've settled into the space; reclaimed wood always brings its own charm and character and no two pieces are ever the same so each project is truly unique and the scribing into the stonework makes them feel like they were always there 👌

After a fantastic meeting with these lovely homeowners to discuss their vision, we were excited to get started on transforming three separate rooms into one beautiful open-plan kitchen and dining space.

The project began with plasterboarding the ceilings and fully replastering the newly opened area. We carefully repaired the sections where walls had been removed, filled all chases, and reinforced potential cracking points with mesh before giving the entire space a flawless skim finish.

Next came the floor preparation — a huge task in itself! We used 30 bags of self-levelling compound to bring the floor up to industry-standard level, creating the perfect foundation for the final finish.

Once dry, we took a well-earned moment to enjoy the stunning countryside views before installing this absolutely beautiful natural oak herringbone flooring, finished off perfectly with new skirting boards throughout.

We’re incredibly proud of how this transformation is coming together — what a difference already!
