EXPERIENCED SEASONAL CHRISTMAS INSTALLER & DECORATOR ABERDEEN BASED WITH TRAVEL TO EDINBURGH 🎄
Due to an increase in festive projects, Illumin8 Creative is looking for an experienced and exceptionally hardworking person to join our installation team to assist in Edinburgh for the 2026 Christmas season.
This is a hands-on role helping to transform hotels, restaurants and commercial venues with Christmas trees, garlands, lighting and large-scale festive displays.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has relevant experience in event styling, floristry, visual merchandising, set dressing, venue dressing or Christmas installations
• Has a strong creative eye and excellent attention to detail
• Can follow a visual brief and recreate a design to a high standard
• Uses their initiative and can find sensible solutions when something doesn’t go to plan
• Is practical, organised and comfortable using basic tools
• Is physically fit and willing to lift, carry and work from ladders
• Works well as part of a team without needing constant direction
• Remains calm, positive and productive during long and demanding shifts
• Is reliably available throughout November and for Christmas removals in January
• Ideally holds a full driving licence and is comfortable driving a van
Although the finished installations are beautiful, this is not simply a festive decorating role. The work includes loading and unloading vans, carrying trees and equipment, working in cold or dark conditions, early starts, late finishes and occasionally long shifts.
We need someone who takes pride in working hard, notices what needs done and gets on with it.
Pay: £15 per hour.
