The new showroom at Rivenwood is looking incredible. Seeing the finished space come together is always one of the most rewarding parts of the design process.

Some glimpses of our Newtownabbey project, nearing completion. 2 extensions clad in burnt timber boards looking great in today’s sun.

Just a few final touches and landscaping to go.

Recently we spent some time with a client at the McConnells distillery in Belfast. The afternoon wasn’t about drawings, deadlines, or decisions.
It was about slowing down long enough to notice the company you keep. A reminder that good conversations, like good buildings and good whiskey, take time.

There’s something grounding about standing in a place shaped by craft.
Copper, timber, patience… and the quiet confidence that comes from doing something properly. It felt familiar.

Because in the end, the work we do is never just about projects. It’s about people. Shared stories.

Moments between the busy parts of life where friendships deepen without trying too hard.

Grateful for the afternoon, the laughter, and the reminder that the journey matters just as much as the destination.
Here’s to craft, conversation, and the roads still ahead.

Well done Chris Williamson
Finally someone with clout has said out loud, what many of us have been muttering for decades. For me root and branch reform of both the RIBA and ARB are needed!

Last week, RIBA president Chris Williamson sent shockwaves through the profession with the announcement that he will not be renewing his Architects Registration Board (ARB) registration
