Out Of Office!

Josh is getting hitched! He’ll be away until the 1st of August but fear not, we still have very capapble engineers working hard while he is gone. You just may have to wait a little longer than usual for a response but emergencies can still be covered easily. All usual avenues of contact are open but email would be best.

Winter is coming! ❄️ These old halogen lights consumed 1800W of power! (The same as a kettle running constantly!!!!) We have replaced them with much brighter, much more efficient lights that consume a total of 180W. If you were to run the old ones for 8 hours a night, they would cost £4.90 per night. We got called out to a local business this week with a faulty diesel pump tripping their electrics. After determining the fault was with the supply, we went on the hunt through some very over grown bushes to find this absolute gem. It doesn’t matter how much tape you wrap around a connection, it will never be water proof! Call professionals and have the job done correctly.

A nice change to work in a clean warehouse! We installed containment, feeds, isolators and lighting ready for an industrial printing machine to be installed which will be used as a demonstrator for the companies clients to see a working example. There is a couple of action shots of our apprentice Lewis forming a perfect quadruple conduit set too.

We tackled something a little different recently. A customer has a very impressive model railway which usually tours exhibitions but it is now being adapted to live in a purpose built building at home. It was important to get the lighting correct for this so that there was a constant level of natural light across the whole installation. We had a lighting schematic design carried out to ensure we got an even spread of light with no shadows. 🚂

We used some plaster in LED profile to provide a super clean and uniform finish on this cool snug/cinema area installation above the bedroom.

We also installed an LED coving in the lower room and powered all the colour changing LED’s with a multi zone controller so that the lights can be controlled together or individually.

Pretty cool right?
