1st EV Charger of the year completed.

Installed a 3 way consumer unit with surge protection (SPD) and an RCBO for the new circuit supplying an EVEC 7.4kW Untherered Charging Unit. The client mainly charges their car at their work place, so this was to top up during off peak hours.

All set up, DNO notification (Including free fuse upgrade via Northern Power) & certification for the new consumer unit and EV charger

Consumer unit upgrade day!

I did an EICR that was due on a rental property for a land lord which highlight a number of issues. As you can see from the picture the installation has been added to over time with poor workmanship and a lack of understanding of the regulations.

Elucain 10 way board with SPD and RCBO's for each circuit, splitting the boiler on to its own circuit and identifying poorly labeled circuits. 100A double pole isolation added before the board.

Another happy customer with more properties to look after later on in the year.

Lovely holiday cottage recently refurbished and what a difference it makes. In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, a secluded spot as part of a larger on going project for more holiday cottages all with a modern twist.

An in tray Solar install front and back, still to be finalised. The addition of an EV charger and Hotub on the bottom of the huge patio, who wouldn't want to stay here for a few nights and stare at the stars.

Please to announce we will now be able to apply for grants in certain circumstances for Electric Vehicle Charging stations.

Attention to details are what make all the difference, and ensure outside installations last the test of time with the hit and miss weather.

Here's an example of a recent Ring door bell and outside light installation, that required making a flat surface to make sure the camera had the correct view, the light was dispersed evenly up and down the wall and prevent any water ingress into the units.

Nows the time to get the outside work repaired or replaced before the dark, and wet weather returns to ruin all our days 😅
