NVQ 3 & Trainee Lift Engineer roles | Up to £45,000 base + overtime + on-call earnings | South West

Allied trades or ex-forces? Skilled in mechanics, electrics, or engineering? Your experience could take you further than you think.

At Safe Working Lifts Ltd, we're hiring Skilled and Trainee Lift Engineers to join our growing team.

If you've got transferable skills or you're leaving the armed forces with hands-on technical experience, we want to hear from you. Full training and support provided.

You'll work across MOD, local authority, commercial and domestic contracts along the south coast.

What's on offer:
✅ Up to £45,000 basic, plus overtime and on-call - door to door
✅ NVQ 3 or 4 training, with potential progression to management
✅ High spec company vehicle
✅ £500 joining bonus after 12 months
✅ 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
✅ Company pension

You'll need a full UK driving licence and be willing to join an out-of-hours call-out rota. Due to our MOD contracts, all engineers must be able to obtain Enhanced DBS and SC clearance.

Congrats to Matt, one of our engineers, who came in 1st place at the Bideford Soapbox Derby, for the second year running! 🏆

He flew our Safe Working Lifts flag proudly throughout the race, and as part of taking part, a charitable donation was made to South West Blood Bikes - Serving Devon, this year's local chosen charity, who volunteer their time and vehicles to transport blood, samples, and medical supplies for the NHS, completely free of charge. A cause we're always happy to support.

Back-to-back champion and raising support for a brilliant cause. Well done, Matt!
