It’s market day here in South Molton and we’re back again today with our range of outdoor furniture and log stores as well as our hand crafted oak chopping boards ☺️ The boards are particularly popular for Christmas gifts at the moment! 🎁

🎃 Our pumpkins went in a little late this year, so we’re trying to give them as long in the garden as possible.

One of our 3 surviving pumpkins is this little rascal, who is unlike either of the two varieties we planted, so who knows what he is?! 🙊 A pumpkin surprise! 😁

We will be at the fantastic South Molton harvest market this Friday 10am-3pm with our range of oak chopping boards, as well as log stores, benches, planters and more!

We are lucky to have such a fantastic market in our local town, if you can make it it’s definitely worth a visit, and while your here be sure to visit all of the fab shops in the town too! ☺️

Wow - it’s been so busy here at Kerscott that we haven’t checked in on here in ages! 😯

Not only has work been crazy, but the garden has been bursting with goodness and we’ve had the very happy task of keeping up with harvesting ☺️

Work wise we’ve been busy on projects for customers, as well as creating some new samples of log stores, benches and sheds, and also a fresh batch of chopping boards!

We will be at the market in South Molton tomorrow, so if you’re in the area please do pop in and say hello and visit all of the other wonderful stands whilst you’re there. ☺️💛

Swipe right to see this beautiful sunflower open 🌻😃

This year we have attempted to grow 6 varieties of sunflower. It’s our first time ever trying, and we think we have 5 out of the 6 successfully growing.

This one, the teddy bear, we didn’t think we had managed to grow. When planting out our small sunflower plants, we had one left, after a mishap with the labels, that we couldn’t identify. It was a small and very weak plant, but we decided to plant it out into the garden anyway and give it a chance.

Fast forward a few months and that weak little un-labelled sunflower was our only successful teddy bear, and what a beauty it is!

🌻 The sunflowers are going strong at the moment in the garden here at Kerscott. We cut a couple and popped them on the window sill indoors, and now the bees keep coming in to the flowers and back out again 🐝 ☺️
