We’re delighted for the client to have secured planning permission for this 380m² new dwelling in Rose Ash, set within the North Devon countryside. Approval followed a successful Class Q barn conversion application, providing a robust planning fall-back for a sensitively designed new-build home.

The proposal retains an agricultural aesthetic, carefully responding to its rural setting and reinforcing the character of the surrounding landscape. With the detailed design now well advanced, we’re looking forward to seeing the project progress on site for our client in the new year.

Delighted for the client and team to be nominated for an LABC award for a high specification refurbishment to a large existing property in Kings Heanton. A pleasure to work with the local authority building control team and Jason Lovelock contractors to excel building control standards and achieve a very high standard of finish on the project.

Great way to end the week with planning permission for this new build dwelling using an established ‘fall-back’ position following the grant of a class Q planning permission on an existing barn in North Devon.

The application proposals include significant design, sustainability, environmental and biodiversity enhancements and will significantly enhance and improve the site beyond that of the previous conversion scheme.

Merry Christmas everyone! 😃 The tree is up in this recently submitted ‘fall-back’ dwelling in Weare Giffard overlooking the river Torridge. The application proposals and new dwelling would include design, sustainability, environmental, biodiversity and festive enhancements beyond that of the previous conversion scheme whilst retaining a barn like design due to the sensitive location of the site.

Fantastic to visit the newly completed unit of holiday accommodation at Narracott Down recently. The building features a number of renewal technologies including air source heat pump, solar PV and EV charging point. The 30 acre site will offer low impact recreation and sustainable tourism activities, it has a number of large lakes and streams and is a haven for wildlife with over 50 bird species including kingfishers, barn owls and buzzards. Fantastic vision by the client and level of finish by Lovelock and Sons.
