Clayewater Homes is pleased to welcome Simon Gilbert as our new Managing Director.

Simon joined us last month with 26 years of experience in residential development, covering business leadership, land acquisition, forward sales, funding and strategic partnerships. Over recent weeks he has spent time with our teams, visited our developments and met partners across the South West to build a clear understanding of our business and our ambitions.

Simon arrives at an important stage in our growth. With developments progressing across the region and a strong pipeline ahead, he will lead the next phase of our expansion. His focus will be on partnership led delivery, strengthening relationships with housing associations, landowners, funding partners and the supply chain to bring forward more homes across the South West.

Our commitment remains clear. We will continue to deliver high quality affordable and mixed tenure homes, build long term partnerships and create developments that benefit the communities we serve.

🏗️ Loverings View, Torrington – Construction Update

A fantastic recent drone photo of our Loverings View development in Torrington, showing the great progress being made across the site.

📸 A big thank you to North Devon Roofing for capturing and sharing this brilliant aerial shot.

🏡 Phase 1 (Plots 1–59) continues to progress well, with homes being handed over and the new community growing week by week.

🚧 Phase 2 (Plots 60–103) is now well underway, with construction progressing across the phase and the next homes really starting to take shape.

🔨 Phases 3 (Plots 104–144) and 4 (Plots 145–200) will follow, completing the development and delivering a total of 200 affordable homes for the local community.

It’s great to see how far the development has come and the progress being made across Loverings View.

A huge thank you to our dedicated site team, subcontractors, suppliers and project partners for their continued hard work and commitment.

We’re looking forward to seeing Loverings View continue to take shape over the coming years, alongside a number of other exciting developments in Clayewater homes pipeline.

There’s plenty more to come, and we look forward to sharing the progress along the way. 🏘️

🏗️ Site Progress Update – Clay Park, Dartington.

Great progress continues at Clay Park, with the latest homes now taking shape and external works advancing across the site.

This community-led affordable housing development will provide homes for local people and families, helping to support the Dartington community for generations to come.

It’s fantastic to see a scheme that has been years in the making becoming a reality. Projects like this are only possible through strong partnerships, shared ambition and the hard work of everyone involved both on and off site.

We’re proud to be playing our part in delivering high-quality, sustainable homes and look forward to sharing further updates as Clay Park continues to grow.

Clayewater Homes is pleased to announce the upcoming delivery of two new residential developments across the South West, bringing forward 66 high-quality affordable homes.

The projects include:
• Beach Road, Woolacombe – 21 homes
• Stoke St Michael – 45 homes

These developments will provide much-needed housing while supporting sustainable growth across local communities.

Tender opportunities for these schemes will be released shortly.
We are actively looking to engage with contractors and supply chain partners interested in working with us.

In addition, tendering has now commenced for Phase 2 of our Torrington development, comprising a further 43 homes.
