Merry Christmas everyone,

That's me all finsihed now for Christmas. The phone is going off, and for the first time in 10 years of being self employed, I'm actually not working over Christmas.

I wasn't expecting to be buying a house this year, yet alone another incredible year for the business. So a long rest is on the cards.

I wish everyone all the very best for Christams and new year, and hope the big man brings you all nice presents 🎁

Some before and after pictires of a recent bathroom renovation carried out in Ulverston.

Bathroom supplied by MKM in Barrow, and electrical work carried out by Lee Bircher of LB Electrical.

Love a bit of satin black. Nice contrasting colours, with plenty of light to make the space look nice and bright.

People are always pleasantly surprised to know that not only do gas and boiler work. When in fact we cover all aspects of plumbing work as well.

Time to enjoy some sunshine 🌞

Good morning everyone,

Just a little reminder about gas safety, and the importance of having your gas appliances checked and maintained.

Today we arrived to replace a combi boiler that was making a loud banging noise when firing up. We identified straight away the cause of the problem, which you can see in the pictures below.

The flue has completely corroded away, and was classed as (ID) Immediately dangerous. You can see how the flue has corroded all the way down to the elbow, which was inside the property 🙁

If you haven't done so recently, please make it a priority to have your gas appliances checked/serviced once a year.

After all, prevention is better than cure.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that it's getting to that time of year again where work becomes crazy busy. In fact this year it seems to be happening much sooner. The diary is filling up very quickly, and the work days are already becoming longer.

This is just a polite request for people to contact me in working hours please, and by phone is much better. Sometimes txts don't get answered as quickly as I would like during busy periods.

There's just a lot to juggle sometimes. But a quick phone call for any work is much better, and quicker.

That way I can get people booked in the diary, instead of waiting for txt replies.

What a year! I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has gone out of their way to tag me, and recommend Parker Gas Services- lakes Ltd this year. It really does mean a lot 😊

I would like to Wish all my customers a very merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 and looking forwards to seeing everyone again in 2023.
