Good Morning
The countdown is on!
Although this Christmas is going to be very difficult and lonely for some.
Families now not able to meet as first confirmed, loved ones who are no longer with us, those living on their own and families struggling to make ends meet.
It has been the most strangest and difficult of years that we have ever witnessed in our lives and COVID-19 has a lot to answer for as it enters it's stronger and fastest spread.
Most don't know whether they are coming or going and businesses are paying a very high price every time they have to close due to the virus, some already have sadly gone or will be going soon.
We would like to thank all our customers for their support and understanding during the times when we needed to access homes to repair boilers when needed during lockdown and onwards as we tried to return to some normality as best as possible.
We too have had our challenges when Kevin was taken ill and spent a few days in hospital and then 4-6 weeks off, setting us back with a backlog of work which is still ongoing to get everyone booked in.
We are truly grateful for everyone's support in Kevin's recovery and your patience and understanding during that time.
Unfortunately, the remaining appointments will now be booked in and carried out in the New Year as there is just not enough hours in the day to have them completed before Christmas.
We can only sincerely apologise for the delay.
We are sure we can speak on behalf of all the local Gas and Heating Engineers, Plumbers, Electricians, Builders, Roofers and many more out there as high demand kicks in all at the same time.
Please bear with us on these remaining appointments if you have not yet been contacted as these will be completed and booked in the New Year.
Which brings us to a comment that was made last night by a trusted customer in that they had been told we had ceased trading!!
Unfortunately, 'Rumour Control' will always be something that we unable to control ourselves but we can strongly advise and reassure all our customers old, present and new that we are very much trading and have not ceased trading.
People are shouting for work and already January is booking up and new referrals coming in every day.
We would like to confirm that our hours are changing in the New Year to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with availability for emergencies on Monday and Friday.
The answer machine will be on and you can still leave a message on Monday and Friday as they will be answered later in the day.
So as we start to wind down and close for Christmas and New Year we want to wish all our customers and their families a Merry Christmas and a much Happier, Healthier and Prosperous New Year.
Most importantly, wherever you are, look after yourselves and stay safe and strong and we will see you on the other side of these devastating times.
With our very best wishes
Kevin and Dawn Glasgow
