Job Vacancy

Due to further expansion, we currently have a vacancy for a general labourer to work both independently and alongside other employees

Previous experience within plumbing and/or construction industries would be preferable but not essential

Willingness to learn, reliability and good work ethic all essential

Driving licence again preferred but not essential

Pay dependent on experience

This is a full time, “cards in” job opportunity, with a trial period

A few before/after/during snaps of today’s boiler installation carried out for our loyal customers BC Rooms (www.barrowcontractorrooms.co.uk)

As with any rental type property, they required value for money, reliability and high quality installation

⭐️ full chemical treatment of the system
⭐️ all waste removed from site
⭐️ building compliance certificate and registration

All work carried out to a high standard with no corner cutting or rushed work

All our boilers are fitted with magnetic filters now as standard, modern boilers just don’t agree with poor system water

Every external condensate waste pipe is now ran in condensate pro 32mm insulated lagging to prevent any frost damage 🥶 something we had a lot of call outs to a few weeks back, not our installations may I add 😅

Couple of emergencies carried out this week which not only had helped the customer out but has kept us ticking over, if only a little compared to our usual hectic schedule

It’s going to be a trying time for everyone for a while but please remember to support local businesses both big and small once we resume some form of normality

We’ve already got a list of non-urgent works that we’ll book in as soon as we get word that we’re back on track, for obvious reasons, we can’t give definite dates, but if you’ve got any work that you want carrying out that can potentially wait, feel free to get in touch

With regards to leaks, boiler issues, toilet problems, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we’ll try accommodate you asap

In light of ongoing events, we have made the decision to cease trading for anything other than absolute emergency work from tomorrow at the very latest.

Normally you’d have to say it’s been a difficult decision to make but it couldn’t be any easier, going in and out of several different properties, builders merchants, putting fuel in the van etc isn’t going to help matters and hopefully if we all make the same decision things will get better.

The phone will still be on for absolute emergencies but please consider what you class as an emergency before getting in touch

Having been trading in the local area for almost 6 years, I’d like to think we’ve built up a big enough reputation to come back bigger and stronger once this all subsides

Please stay safe everyone and cherish this time off with your loved ones ❤️

We’ve been ever so slightly guilty of neglecting this page of late I’m afraid, the fact the page is still “Jaggar Heating and Plumbing” is a testimony to that as we’ve been trading as “Jaggar Heating Ltd” for three years now.

Anyway, we’re going to keep it a bit more updated from now on and hopefully have a website set up in the near future where you can book online for smaller jobs such as boiler services, safety checks etc to suit you.

For larger jobs such as Bathrooms, Boiler replacement etc, don’t hesitate to get in touch with any job enquiries for quotations etc
