Wait........Yes here it is.......your eyes aren't playing tricks on you!

This is Cheryl Andrew s REAL Christmas tree… still standing proud… and now fully dressed for Easter 😂💛

Because like we always say - why should the magic stop in December…
when a good tree is clearly a good bet for Easter Eggs?

Twinkly lights ✔️
Colourful eggs ✔️

So go on then… be honest…

👉 Who else has got a Christmas tree still be standing right now?

Drop a comment below and tell us…and bonus points if you’ve decoroated it!

Thanks Cheryl for sharing we loved seeing this! 😀

Hang on a minute… it’s March now.

Christmas was over two months ago.
So what am I seeing here? 👀🌲

Just two of our trees… still standing tall and gloriously green in their new homes this weekend.

One soaking up spring sunshine on the lawn.
One twinkling away by the patio like it’s politely refusing to accept that Christmas is over.

Thank you to Denise and Cheryl for sending them to me.

And honestly? I’m now just waiting to see them decorated with Easter eggs. 🐣

Seeing photos like these on the 1st of March makes all those muddy boots, cold mornings and 44 weeks of planning completely worth it.

Because a properly grown Christmas tree shouldn’t be a three-week wonder.

👉 Has anyone else still got theirs up?
👉 Or am I about to launch the UK’s first “Easter Tree” trend? 😂

If yours is still going strong, pop a photo in the comments — I love seeing them living their best life beyond December. 🌲💚

🌲 Something new is growing here…..... and it started with a dog. 🐾

Many of you know our Christmas tree field well.
You’ve walked it. Laughed in it. Made memories here. No one could accuse us of not loving our work and having fun!

But over the years, the land has been quietly changing — and so have we.

What started as an idea has turned into something deeply personal.
Something slower. Kinder. More intentional.

We’ve just shared the first post over on our new page Tails in the Trees — and it tells the story of why this next chapter matters to us.

If you’d like to come along on the journey, the story is there to read 💚

Something exciting is happening here …………🌲😊
But what is it…?

We’re excited to share that Tails in the Trees Dog Park 🐾 will be opening this spring, right here at Andy Broom’s Christmas Trees in Barrow upon Humber.

Just before Christmas, we were granted full planning permission for “dual use” of our Christmas tree field — meaning that outside the Christmas season, it will also operate as a secure, enclosed dog exercise park, including a dedicated off-lead exercise ring.

This has been almost a year in the making.
Carefully planned. Properly approved.
All the red tape is done ✔️

What we’re working on now is the practical (and exciting) bit:
• installing a securely fenced grass area for safe off-lead exercise, with some agility equipment
• opening up the rest of the field as an enclosed space, with wide grass paths around the trees and woodland-style trails to explore on lead if you wish
• planting longer wild-grass and wildflower areas for extra sniffing and enrichment

At Tails in the Trees — whether on two legs or four — it’s all about what we’ve always believed in here:
🌲 space to walk or run free in a safe environment
🐕 fresh air, no pressure, no judgement
❤️ lovely memories being made

It will be a managed, pre-booked space, with a maximum of 4 dogs per booking, designed for everyone — including:
🐕 puppies and young dogs
🐾 nervous or reactive dogs
🐶 anyone who simply wants a peaceful, secure walk in a beautiful setting

We’ll also be partnering with an experienced dog trainer and a veterinary practice to share optional tips, ideas and gentle guidance — all in one place via the Tails in the Trees website & page, alongside updates, progress and future bookings.

Nothing overwhelming. Nothing judgemental. Just support if you want it.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing progress as fencing goes in and the field begins to transform — and we’ll also share a few of our own stories along the way, about how this idea came about and why creating a safe, happy space for our four-legged family members matters so much to us.

And just to be clear — Christmas trees will still be here at Christmas 🌲

This simply gives the field a new purpose for the rest of the year.
More soon… we hope you’ll enjoy following the journey 🎄🐾

✨ When does a Tree Becomes More Than Just a Tree….. ?🌲

Something utterly heart-melting happened today at Goxhill Pre-school…
Their Christmas tree — the one Lyndsey & Nicola chose through snow, wind and pure magic with the christmas tree glasses — is now standing proudly in its new home.

And honestly?
It looks perfect.

“Elsa Lights,” named by little Betsy, are twinkling like they’re casting tiny spells across the room…
“Twinkle Twinkle the Angel,” named by Maisie, is perched at the top like she owns the place…
And the children?
They are in love. Proper, wide-eyed, festive wonder love.

Seeing them on these photos nd hearing about this stops us in our tracks.

Because Christmas trees do something special in places like this.
They don’t just decorate a room —
they lift spirits,
hold memories,
and give little hearts something to gather around.

Lyndsey, Nicola and the whole amazing team at Goxhill Pre-School give their children magic every single day — not just at Christmas — and being part of that, even in the tiniest way, is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Great job! Goxhill Pre-school. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best for the New Year! 🎄❤️

✨ The Mystery of the Invisible Christmas Photos… 👀🎄 ✨

We wanted to mention about something we feel like we're missing out on…..

Some of you are tagging us in your gorgeous photos as shown here 😀........

However some of you are also tagging your visits, your decorated trees, your kids yelling “Santa, send the Elf!” on the walkie-talkie — but sadly we can’t see them or comment on them.

Not because we’re ignoring you.
Not because Skip the Elf is pressing random buttons again.
But because your posts are set to Friends Only, which means they disappear into the Facebook mist for anyone outside your friends list… including us. 😭

Here’s how to make sure your festive masterpieces actually reach our eyeballs:

🌲 Posting on your own timeline?
Before you hit “Post,” check the little audience icon (looks like a globe or two heads).
👉 Set just that post to Public.
Then tag Andy Broom’s Christmas Trees, Decor & Gifts Galore as normal.

🌟 If you prefer to keep your timeline private?
No problem — just pop your photos straight into the comments on our posts and we’ll see them instantly.

📸 We love seeing:

Your decorated trees

Your muddy-boot choosing adventures

Santa selfies

Pets who are 100% planning to climb the tree

Hot chocolate, chaos, carols — all of it

Now… BONUS TIP FOR POSTS YOU’VE ALREADY MADE:
If you’ve shared photos recently and tagged us but we still can’t see them, here’s how to fix it:

1️⃣ Go to the post on your timeline
2️⃣ Tap the three dots in the top right corner
3️⃣ Tap Edit audience
4️⃣ Change it to Public
5️⃣ Save
6️⃣ Ta-da! Your photos are now visible to us and we’ll be able to see (and probably squeal over) them 🎄✨

Thanks everyone, cant wait to see all your pics 🎄

✨ You Won’t Believe What Just Happened… ✨
(And no, Santa hasn’t nicked all the trees… though it looks like it!)

Well… we’ve done it.
Our delivery slots are now completely, utterly, joyfully FULL — every single one!

BUT......You’ve still got brilliant options:

🌲 1. Tag Your Tree & Collect Later
Wander into our magical 6-acre fir forest, grab your measuring pole and walkie-talkie, choose “the one,” and we’ll tag it safely with your name.
Come back to collect it when you’re ready — no rush, no stress.

🌲 2. Take One Home on the day
If your car seats fold down (and honestly… most 6–7ft trees fit just fine), you can pick your tree and take it with you straight away.
Instant Christmas. Zero waiting.

This is the moment the season really starts to sparkle — and we’d love to see you this week.

What Survived the Storm, the Mud… and Upside-Down Gazebos?

If you were with us this weekend, you already know the answer: YOU did.

And honestly… we’re still a bit speechless.

Saturday came in — a yellow rain warning, sideways rain, the full drama.
Did it stop our tree hunters? Not a chance. You lot stomped through puddles like festive warriors.

Then the wind hit overnight.
Three gazebos decided they’d had enough — one even flipped completely upside down like it was auditioning for Cirque du Soleil.
So what did we do?
We rolled up our sleeves, dragged the Goxhill Pop-Up-Pub and Alice in Bloom into the barn, and carried on.
Because that’s how we do things round here. 🎄💪

And then came Sunday — sunshine, glittering trees, and the kind of crowds we only dream of.
A record-breaking day.
You arrived… and kept arriving…
Our car park was full, and at times it felt like Glastonbury Meets Christmas — one-in-one-out, muddy boots, big smiles, zero grumbles.

To every single person who waited patiently, splashed through the puddles, queued, laughed, and kept the festive spirit alive:
THANK YOU.
You were absolutely fantastic.

And to our team — our army of friends who drag themselves out here year after year:
You legends were soaked, cold, covered in mud up to your ankles, and somehow still smiling.
We simply couldn’t do this without you.

Santa and his elves?
Outstanding.
Magical.
Total crowd-pleasers as always — the kids absolutely adored them.

And then… :
✨ The Goxhill Singers.
Their carols on Saturday drifted across the field like something out of a Christmas film — honestly, it stopped us in our tracks.
There’s something about live carols among the trees that hits you right in the festive feels. Beautiful!

Huge thanks also to:
🍺 Goxhill Pop-Up-Pub
🍔 Brads food truck
You kept everyone warm, fed, and happy in true village-hero style.

And finally… a genuine heartfelt apology.
We were so sad to cancel the Walking with Alpacas Lincolnshire Rescue today — the field flooding meant it just wasn’t safe for them (or anyone).
We know how excited people were to see them, and we’ll make it up to you, promise. ❤️

This weekend was wild, messy, magical, exhausting, hilarious and heartwarming all at once — in other words:
Christmas at Andy Broom's Christmas Trees Decor & Gifts Galore

A quick update for those planning to visit today:
Our alpaca friends from Walking With Alpacas aren’t able to attend today due to two very sad bereavements in their team. 💛
Please join us in sending them love.

They’ll be here with a small team tomorrow, and we know you’ll welcome them with the same kindness you always do.

But as for today?
We’re still open… still magical… and still very much ready for festive adventures.
Bring your boots, bring your brollies, bring the children — the trees don’t mind the rain. Brad's Food truck is here, The Goxhill Pop up Pub is here, Alice in Bloom, the Carols Singers too and of course Santa.

Pop down anytime between 10–3pm — the gift cabin is glowing, and we’re ready to make your weekend a little brighter.

✨ If You’ve Been ‘Meaning To’… ....This Is Your Nudge from the Christmas Elves. ✨

Something funny happens every year right about now…
The delivery diary suddenly starts looking like Santa’s wish list — absolutely jam-packed.

And yes we’ve officially hit that moment:
All delivery slots are now fully booked until week beginning 8th December.

But here’s the good news (because we’re all about solutions, not panic):
Most 6–7ft Nordmann Firs will fit in the back of a car with the seats down. In fact you can get a 9ft tree in a Mercedes convertible as shown in the photo....... and also a Ford Kuga - as we did that this week too!

We wrap them, we help you load them, and off you go — Christmas magic secured.

If you need a delivery from 8th December onwards, get in touch quickly — those slots won’t hang around either.

If you’re happy to collect, simply come down, choose your tree, tag it, and take it home whenever suits you.

We are very grateful for everyones support!
