Lovely job for lovely lady in penarth, 3rd house done in this street.
Customer was very happy and commented in the first painter to wash mould off and fill all cracks, it’s bonkers what is out there.
People saying they have decades of experience and are qualified. The only decent qualifications in p&d is city & guilds, nvq means nothing if they have that at all.
There are even people saying qualifications in p&d and all they have done is a 3 day refresher course 😂

Had to revisit a job id previously quoted for yesterday which i didnt get and they had used another so called painter.
They had won the job as their quote was a lot cheaper than mine.
Unfortunately my quote included all correct primers to allow Matt emulsion to adhere to silk paint used previously.
Unfortunately all new emulsion paint used to ceilings and walls was cracking and flaking in places.
Unfortunately the painter whom won the job obviously skipped the priming step which resulted in the paint flaking which now the customer wants corrected by myself.
Priming alone was approximately 30% of the price of this job, hence why their quote beat mine.
The worst part is the original price I quoted will now be more as I have also to put this botchers work right.
(ALWAYS ASK FOR PROOF OF CITY & GUILDS) so many so called decorators out there with nothing but customers get fooled by pretty pages and reviews from family members.

Professional painting & decorating. 30+ years experience and city & guilds qualified ( not many of us about)
With so many people who claim to be fully qualified painters & decorators out there and having to put a fair few of their work right most are self proclaimed professionals. Some are doing a course of just a few days and calling themselves professionals. Always ask for proof of qualifications, nvq is a waste of paper ( city & guilds totally different qualification)

Happy Xmas and a happy new year to customers and followers old and new.
Last day tomorrow for myself and will be off till the 5th of January. Will still be running around doing any quotes needed so if you want any work quoted for please get in touch.
Have 3 weeks left in April but apart from that I’m fully booked till June.

Got 2 days come free next thursday 18th & Friday 19th, apart from that I’m booked until April, only putting this on my page and not sharing as fairly happy to break up for Xmas then 2 days early but if one of my followers would like something done at short notice I’m happy to come and quote.

Beautiful job recently completed in penarth, had a plain canvas and customer wanted cozy space instead of plain white. All professional products used and methods used including correct primers where needed.
Very few professionals in the vale unfortunately just a lot of people calling themselfs one in their social media. Professionals have a recognised qualification to back that up, always ask for proof of city & guilds to make sure you get a professional.
Now taking bookings from early March at the moment. Get in touch if you want your home looking the best it could be.
