The team are busy shearing out blanks ready for folding later on.

Getting clean, accurate blanks at this stage helps keep parts consistent as they move through production, which makes a big difference when everything needs to line up properly further down the line.

The TruPunch 2020 is set up and ready for a full day of punching, with sheets stacked and the shop floor prepping for another run of work.

Having this setup in place means parts can move quickly through production while still allowing more detailed and complex work to be processed when required, helping keep repeat jobs consistent and lead times under control along the way!

Getting plenty of heat in the workshop today! 🔥

With summer construction work continuing to pick up, welding jobs are steadily moving through the workshop as new projects continue to come in.

We offer TIG and MIG welding across a wide range of fabrication work, regularly working with steel, aluminium and stainless steel on both one off projects and ongoing production requirements.

That variety means the team are working across different materials, sections and job sizes throughout the week, depending on what's coming through the door and what customers require.

Quality checks are built into our process rather than being left until the end, so every bend, punch and weld is checked as it comes through the press brake. This helps keep consistency across batches and allows any issues to be picked up early before parts move on to the next stage.

When components are going into construction, there is no room for compromise, so this approach helps keep production on track before anything leaves the press brake.
