Workmanship we’re proud to put the DSSL name to!

We’re approaching the completion of installation works for a new DSSL Group client in wales, and this project is a brilliant example of the multi-skilled capability we have within our directly employed engineering team.

From start to finish, Sonny & Ben have delivered a complete, multidisciplinary security solution across the site.

This is what investing in our own people, training and in-house capabilities allows us to achieve. It gives DSSL greater control over quality, availability and project delivery while providing our clients with one accountable partner across multiple specialist disciplines.

Critical systems don’t stop at 5pm and neither does team DSSL!

Our 24/7/365 reactive support service ensures our clients have access to the engineering support they need, whenever they need it.

Each month, our engineers complete an average of 680 out of hours jobs across a wide range of sites and specialist systems.

One recent call-out involved a critical fault requiring immediate attention. Our engineers complete was quickly on site, identified the issue and successfully restored the system, all whilst working beneath a pretty impressive backdrop!

DSSL engineer Riley recently had an incredible opportunity to fly his RC hawk at the very airfield where the full size aircraft is based.

Our compliance manager, Richard joined Riley for the trip, and naturally, a DSSL van had to make an appearance in the photos too.

At DSSL, we love seeing our team pursuing their interests outside of work and having opportunities to create memories like these!

We’re excited to announce something brand new for the security industry…

On 20th October, DSSL Group will be hosting our first Security Industry Padel Tournament – bringing together customers, suppliers, partners and friends from across the industry for a day of competition, networking and plenty of fun.

The venue has been booked exclusively for the event, the tournament format is taking shape, the DJ is scheduled and Team DSSL has plenty more planned throughout the day!

What's in a number plate? At DSSL... quite a lot, actually!

Have you ever noticed that our vans don't just have standard registration plates?
Every DSSL vehicle has its own personalised registration, carefully chosen to reflect the engineer or team member who drives it. It's a small detail, but one that's become part of our company culture.

Whether it's initials, a nickname or something with personal meaning, every plate tells a story and gives each van its own identity.

It's just another example of how we like to do things a little differently. We take pride in our fleet, our branding and, most importantly, our people.

After all, our engineers spend a lot of time on the road supporting clients across the UK, so it's only right they have a van they can call their own.

Our team has been busy delivering SALTO access control systems across multiple Leonardo Hotels, with many more installations still to come.

This ongoing programme reflects our commitment to providing high-quality, integrated security solutions across the hospitality sector, helping our clients enhance security while delivering a seamless experience for guests and staff.

Our engineers recently found themselves working at one of the UK’s most iconic aviation museums, and it looks like they made the most of the opportunity! 😄

From Concorde to the Harrier Jump Jet, it’s safe to say this was a site visit to remember.
