Water softener install completed ✅
Customer was fed up with limescale and hard water issues, so we fitted a compact softener neatly into the cupboard and tied it in with the existing pipework.

Expect:
• Less limescale on taps/showers
• Softer laundry
• Better flow and less scale build-up over time

Cold radiator solved today (weird one) 🥶➡️🔥

Had a call-out for a cold radiator that wouldn’t heat up properly. Turned out there was a bit of felt/debris lodged in the valve/connection (see pics) — something that definitely shouldn’t be in a heating system. It was restricting flow, so the rad never stood a chance.

While diagnosing, we also found the circulation pump had failed, so that was replaced too. System back up and running and rads heating as they should.

Quick tip if you’ve got one cold radiator:

If the rad is cold but the pipes/other rads are warm, it’s often flow restriction (valve blockage, sludge, stuck pin, air, TRV issue).

If multiple rads are struggling / heating is patchy, it can be pump/flow or system sludge.

Posting in case it helps someone else — happy to point you in the right direction if you’re having similar symptoms (drop a comment/DM).

Customer had standing water and slow drainage outside. Cleared the blockage, cleaned out the gully and got it flowing freely again (video shows the after).
If you’ve got pooling water, bad smells or slow drains — get it sorted before it becomes a bigger problem.

Customer had this fitted around 8 months ago and it was left with poor plumbing, which has caused damage inside the unit.
We’ve put it right — corrected the pipework and made it safe/tidy so it won’t keep doing the same thing.

If something doesn’t look right under your sink, don’t ignore it… it only gets more expensive.
