Norway's EV Market Ahead of the Curve 🚗

January marked the first time in Norway's history that most new cars sold were pure electric. If trends continue, the country could be the first in the world where EVs outnumber petrol and diesel models by 2029.

It's true that the country has heavily incentivised consumers to purchase EVs, and this has partly been funded through profits in the oil and gas industry.

Poor Mobile Signal Affecting EV Charge Points 📶

New data from the RAC Foundation has highlighted a huge issue with public EV charging infrastructure.

According to the report, 66% of Type-2 public chargers lack suitable mobile signal from all four major network providers. As most require payment and connection via apps, this is a huge pitfall.

Even in London, just under 40% of slow chargers have an acceptable level of signal, showing that it's not necessarily a case of where you live.

Electricity Grid Upgrade That Will Push Up Energy Bills ⚡
