This elderly customer was told she would need to replace the whole window because the hinges had broken when the wind caught hold of them

She didn’t.

We replaced the hinges and the glass in the fanlight that had blown for less than 1/5th of the cost of a new window!

We always offer honest advice and, if something is more cost effective to replace rather than repair we tell you the truth. On this occasion someone saw the £ signs instead of doing the right thing
