This En-suite was the second part of the job. Bathroom completion allowed us to remove the old en-suite & move everything around to make use of the space. Furniture with storage, large shower tray with dual shower outlets & a storage niche. Tiled walls & karndean floor finished the room.

First of two bathroom upgrades for a returning customer. New home for them so the old bathroom had to go.
Shower tray removed & boarded over to create a landing cupboard for additional storage. New bath with dual shower over , wc & basin units & a tall storage wall unit. Old radiator out & new tall towel rail in its place. Karndean flooring fitted & full wall tiling. A much improved space . Now to start the en-suite!!

En-suite shower room for a previous customer. Back to stud & blockwork to remove the old tiles & damaged plasterboard. Electric shower removed to be replaced by a new shower using the unvented system for a upgraded shower experience. Shower tray fitted to the floor for easier access, with a niche for storage. Wall hung basin unit & swirl flush pan. Tiled walls & floor preparation for karndean flooring once I was finished. The compact space made for a challenge, but a big upgrade on the previous room. A very happy customer sent me a really nice thank you message after using the room for the first time.

Called to a mains leak below the stopcock. The customer said her insurance company had sent out a plumber to fix the problem. Wrapping a bad joint with PTFE will not cure a leak!!
Where do they find these so called plumbers??
I cut out the bad fitting , fitted the correct metric to imperial coupling, new lever valve & left the job fixed, as it should be!!!

Cloakroom refurb for a long time customer. Last room in the house to be done by me. Over the years I’ve changed the roof tanks, cylinder, radiators, boiler, bathroom & en-suite & even the kitchen & utility sinks with taps!
So the smallest room completes the set!
They were very pleased with the results!

Early start this morning to a poorly boiler. Over 30 year old Potterton Netaheat with a dead fan. Customer found a new fan for half the trade price (new old stock). Stripped the boiler down , even though it hadn’t been serviced in years, it still looked in good shape. Fitted the replacement fan, cleaned the burner & visual checks to the flue, casing & heat exchanger. Got it back together & fired it up. Checked the burner pressure & even for its age it ran like a dream. Saved another dinosaur from the scrap heap for now. Will be back later in the year to fit a more efficient boiler. Happy customer & a warm house.

A bathroom & cloakroom refurb completed for an existing customer from Basingstoke. This refurb was in a property in Guildford, where they have relocated to for the next 3 years.
Been delayed for a while due to Covid, but isn’t everything. Didn’t record many in between photos, but the before and after of the bathroom kind of says it all!
Thanks to Plumbersworld for the sanitaryware & Darren from Oakley wall & floor tiling for the porcelain & ceramic works.
I did include a photo of me after chasing the walls for concealing the pipe work in the cloakroom, a very dusty job in a small room!! Such fun!!😱
Another shower room to do for the customer as well as a boiler & kitchen works later in the year.

Pre Christmas job finally complete. A delay on the towel rail delivery meant a visit during the holidays to finish. A complete transformation from the existing en-suite bathroom to a wet room. Fully tiled walls & floor, with wall mounted units & a large shower area.
New lighting & extraction with a digital shower & remote to complete the look.
Happy customer & a happy installer. A very nice bottle of champagne from my customer as a thank you for the job made my day!
