LEVEL ACCESS BATHROOM IN PART CONVERTED GARAGE.

Was recently asked to create a level access shower room in a partly converted garage, for a lovely couple who were future proofing their property and building a guest shower room for an elderly parent for when she comes to stay. Really enjoyed this creation and as always, pleased to see the completed article.

Not work related, but I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate one of Millbrook Building Solutions clients, who’s grandson Jay Robinson made his Premier League debut yesterday for Southampton against Aston Villa, a young man’s career I will be following with interest in the future for sure!

INDEPENDENT LIVING ALTERATION WORK:

Really pleased with how this job turned out. Was asked to carry out a kitchen, bathroom and lighting renovation that would help our client who was partially sighted live easier within their own home.
Not the first time I have worked for someone that has been partially sighted, but learned a lot about their condition and how having extremely limited sight can be aggrevated by light, glare and colours blending into one etc.
Job came in three parts for us. Kitchen alteration, Lighting alterations and bathroom alteration.

BATHROOM FRESHEN UP:

We were asked by a client who we have worked for on a renovation of one of his flats to freshen up one of his bathrooms at his own residence.
All within a reasonable budget.

GARAGE CONVERSION:

Not all conversions are as straightforward as upgrading walls and just adding insulation.
On the rare occasion we are asked to remove badly converted ones and start again.
At first it seemed like a reasonable attempt, but when you really looked into it, you could see just how bad it was and because it was so bad, would never become part of the house.
This part conversion was stripped out and remodelled adding a larger cloakroom, an additional lobby area with an office/gym at the front.

As proud members of Checkatrade and Federation of Master Builders our performance is constantly being monitored to make sure our workmanship and trading standard is how it should be.
After a comprehensive check and site visit by the British Board of Agrément on a recently built extension of ours we were presented with our latest certificate from the Federation.
