If you have a magnetic filter on your boiler, please make sure that you check it and give it a clean atleast once a year. Or until it no longer yields any muck!!!
But do remember to give it a flush

If you have a sealed heating system and therefore a little pressure gauge .
If you are finding it dropping regularly and you have got into the habit of just refilling it.
BEWARE, that means water is getting out somewhere and it's not always obvious, but in the long run, can be costly.
So don't ignore it, and just keep refilling

Another way to save money when you are sick and tired of the shower dribbling out water in the mornings, is to take the shower head off, over a bowl of warm water, tip some limescale remover into the shower head until it fills up.( A good splosh of limescale remover in the water too, always helps)
Leave it in the bowl of water, overnight and then scrub the showerhead with an old toothbrush in the morning.
Bingo, a shower head like new
