Hallway Transformation

A little progress update from this hall, stairs and landing 👌

The walls have now been plastered and are ready for the next stage. There’s still a bit to do, so this isn’t the finished result just yet, I’ll be back next week to get everything decorated and bring the whole transformation together.

Another one completed by Nu-Walls 👌

A great transformation on this hall, stair and landing.

The job involved plastering the walls and ceilings throughout, including forming the double curve around the top of the staircase, a detail that took a bit of care to get right.

Once the plastering was complete, the whole area was fully decorated, bringing everything together and giving the space a fresh, clean finish.

From the original tired walls and ceilings to a completely transformed hall and staircase.

Hall, Stair & Landing Transformation 👌

Another job well underway and this one has a few interesting details to keep me busy!

I’m currently plastering the hall, stairs and landing, including the ceilings and walls.

One of the trickier parts has been forming the double curve around the top of the stairs, which should look really sharp once everything is finished and decorated.

There’s still a small bit of plastering to complete, but I’m hoping to have the finished plastering photos ready tomorrow.

Once the plastering is complete, I’ll also be carrying out the decorating to bring the whole area together.

This project included refreshing both a bedroom and toilet to give them a clean, bright finish.

Bedroom :
✔️ Ceiling and walls painted white. ✔️ Walls required 4 coats to achieve a solid, even finish. ✔️ All woodwork finished in white satinwood for a durable, smooth look.

Toilet :
✔️ All walls thoroughly rubbed down and prepared. ✔️ Plastering repairs carried out to damaged corners. ✔️ Finished with 4 coats of white acrylic eggshell, providing a tough, washable finish that's perfect for bathrooms.

Preparation is key to achieving a quality finish, and the extra coats ensured the best possible result.

Another hall, stair and landing transformation completed!

This project included: ✔️ Plastering the ceilings over the existing artex, including one wall to create a smooth, modern finish. ✔️ Priming the existing wallpaper to provide a sound base. ✔️ Applying three coats of Johnstone's Perfect Matt emulsion to the ceilings and walls for a flawless finish. ✔️ Refreshing all existing woodwork with white satinwood for a clean, durable finish.
The result is a much brighter, fresher and more contemporary space.

Hall, stairs and landing decoration completed today.
Ceiling and walls were painted with two coats of white acrylic durable matt emulsion. Feature walls were painted with three coats of durable matt emulsion. All existing woodwork was then finished in a white satin.

Some pictures of a recent insurance job, completed today.
Due to a water leak, the ceiling needed repaired and some plastering done.
After that it was on to the decoration with ceiling and walls finished in a durable acrylic matt. All woodwork painted in a white satinwood.
