For this project, we removed the wall between the kitchen and dining room and installed a steel beam with full building control sign-off. We then closed off the original kitchen doorway, fully plastered throughout, fitted a brand new kitchen, laid new flooring, and installed new external doors to enhance both light and access.
A complete transformation from closed-off rooms to a modern, light-filled living space ready for painting✨

We said we’d share the second part of this transformation… and here it is 👏

Here’s the full before-and-after picture/video of a project recently completed by the team at Macton Projects.

The customer chose to transform this space, just off what is now their master bedroom, into a stunning ensuite leading through to their home office. The office also features a staircase with access straight down to the garden too!

(Fun fact: the property was originally turned into two flats, which is why the additional staircase was already there.)
