This was a small utility room extension, removal of the existing pitched roof over the single storey living room area, new floor joists and a new two storey addition above in order to create a new bedroom and add more space to an existing bedroom. Initially a bit awkward as the boiler and Consumer Unit were being kept so needed to be protected from the elements and needed to work the floor around the (still in use) pipework until a plumber could attend to alter them.

A huge benefit of timber framing is the speed in which the building can be erected, and the added insulation benefits without sacrificing more space/footprint.
