So on these 3 plots the top soil level was over 350mm at the back of the spine fence, we decided with using 2 300mm concrete recessed gravel boards to retain the soil at the back of the fence line as in this plot the top soil was higher than the opposite gardens, it will leave 6” on concrete recessed showing with a 5.6 ft closeboard panel using 10ft concrete slotted posts to hold the fences in places. The step in the spine fence (5th panel across)was due to the rear plot top soil level dropping 70mm along the ground to emerge with the other plots behind the rear of the garden.

An emergency call out... action was required promptly as this fence boundary was next to a busy pedestrian walkway. The team got straight to it and the results speak for themselves strong, sturdy & stunning to complete the job on such short notice.

Minor fence repair: The garden was breached of its security allowing anyone to have a look inside,as this was fence was facing a main road with cars constantly commuting it was also a safety risk as there are children in the house. So we opted to install concrete posts and concrete gravel boards with timber panels to ensure a longer lasting boundary to withstand such pressures like heavy winds. The customer was extremely pleased with the urgency we carried out the works considering what’s going on in the world.

Understanding the customers needs is a must at VKN Fencing, on this particular job one of our regular clients who is disabled kept on finding cat litter in her garden as the cats where coming from under the fence. Now it’s secured there will be no litter in her garden.
