🏡 GARDEN TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE 🏡

Over the past few weeks, the JVM team have completely transformed this outdoor space — demolishing the existing outbuilding and starting again to create a new fully insulated garden room/office, surrounded by a brand-new Indian sandstone patio.

The completed project included:

🚧 WEEKS 2 & 3 COMPLETE 🚧

What started as a derelict brick outbuilding just a few weeks ago is now really starting to look like the finished garden transformation.

Over Weeks 2 & 3 we’ve:

🏠 Completed the EPDM roofing system
🪵 Installed the external timber cladding
🪟 Installed the new windows & entrance door
🧱 Completed the insulation & vapour barrier
🔨 Boarded the internal walls & ceiling
⚡ Progressed the electrical installation
🏡 Laid the new Sunset Buff Indian sandstone patio
📐 Installed the edging and formed the correct levels & falls

There’s not much left to go:

✔️ Final internal works
✔️ Complete external ground levels
✔️ Final detailing & finishing touches
✔️ Full site clean & tidy
✔️ The finished transformation 👀

The difference from where we started is already massive… and we’re nearly there!

🚧 WEEK 1 COMPLETE 🚧

What started as a derelict brick outbuilding is already being transformed into a fully insulated garden room and a brand-new outdoor living space.

In just one week we’ve:
🔨 Demolished the existing building
🚜 Cleared the site and removed all waste
🏗️ Constructed the new insulated timber frame
🧱 Installed wall and roof insulation
📐 Prepared the garden ready for 45–50m² of Indian sandstone paving

There’s still plenty to come:

A leaking garage roof needed more than just a new covering.

We stripped everything back, replaced the rotten timber, installed new 18mm OSB throughout and finished it with a durable EPDM rubber roofing system complete with new fascia and guttering.

Another roof built to last. 💪

From early starts and site visits to meeting customers, surveying projects, pricing work and managing jobs, there’s a lot that goes on before a project even begins.
