2 Slates missing on this roof. This is exposing the roof membrane which is an immediate water ingress situation. (When it eventually starts raining again).

Only issue is that there about 15m up and about 5m into the roof pitch.

It’s a small job and you can’t justify £1500 - £2000 for scaffold. Plus the labour costs.

This is where we come in …. and out within 1 hour on site.

A small job with difficult access.

Working from a MEWP has lots of benefits.

This week we have been working at a buisness clients building in Bedford. During the work we have to use there small car park. If we had scaffolding this carpark would be out of use for weeks. Whereas we will be gone as soon as the works finished, no waiting for the scaffold to be striked. So the company can get back to buisness as usual with minimum disruption.

Now that’s what we call access.

The job: Replace a whole property’s gutters.

The problem: The rear of the property had a large conservatory roof which would have been costly to scaffold as it was built into a L Shape corner requiring costly Counterweighted scaffold to be put in place.

The solution: The garden gate was 850 mm wide and we had this gap all the way to the rear of the property. So we were able to get our spider in and setup in the garden then boom up and over to fit the gutters.

With the right tools not only is the job completed faster, but it’s safer and cheaper for the customer. That’s what i call a win win.

There’s more to driveway cleaning than most people realise.

When your looking to clean your driveway better to do it right first time.

Our customer opted to for the premium service.

Step 1: Deep clean all the Block-Work driveway down to 20mm between the blocks. Followed by a rinse and debris clear-up.

Step 2: Chemically treat the area to kill off any lichen and biofilm too small to see.

Step 3: Throughly rinse down the area.

Step 4: Using premium grade ProJoint Polysweep polymeric paving sand for super long lasting joints. This is a cut above kiln dried paving sand and is much finer and fills the gaps better.

Step 5: Two coats of premium grade concrete sealer pro from PureSeal Services Matt finish. Using our airless sprayer we can ensure consistency of coating.

That’s the difference that means next year it will still be looking its best.

Step 4 & 5 while add to the cost of the initial clean. You won’t be spending out to have the driveway deep cleaned next year. Surface levels of dirt can be quickly cleaned to maintain.

Team out in Felmersham today at the start of a project of several repairs and maintenance to this beautiful country property.

We’re starting with A full eave course repair on the slate barn roof followed by several slate repairs across the property.

Then we have next week in for a full roof clean on the main clay tile roof using our delicate scrape and treat method. Followed by i’m sure a few clay tile repairs that will be needed as they are so fragile and several of the breaks are only held in by moss.

Early start for BPS today pointing up a verge in Wellingborough before the heat of the day.

Followed by some proper bird proofing. While if the budget won’t stretch we will fit what you request we prefer to install these ridge hooks and ultra thin wire.

The best part about it!

You can’t see the wire front the ground easily so it’s a very smart install.

Working on a roof you often spot things that just don’t look right.

Today working in Riverfield Drive Bedford. Doing a Roof Clean. We noticed that the chimney had no Flaunche!

Can you believe it’s been like this for 20 + Years all the bricks on the top course were lose. Looks like it potentially had some mortar on top at some point who knows 🤷‍♂️.

The neighbours roof was the same story.

Problem solved.

Sometime all it needs is someone to spot a problem before it becomes a big problem.
