Why choose Alpha Electrical services?
Carrying out an EICR today at a property in Bedfordshire which we was asked to check all the circuits in the house, which is standard, to make sure all the circuits are healthy and will not cause an safety issues.
We will not leave a property where we think the installation is unsafe , and will work with the customer to advise them on what could potentially be a fire hazard and what we can do to resolve the hazards if found and put on a report
First we checked the lighting circuit which has no problems, then started to look at the sockets and yes these were our findings.
What I dont get is , the previous report which was done not long ago, 2020, actually said the the installation was satisfying and was signed off,
As you can see the customer had been doing some renovation work and found a number of issues when they started peeling back , cables not protected in the walls , no grommets in the knock outs of back boxes , no earth sleeving for conductors. The whole house ( sockets ) was on one circuit 🤯, which potentially if a socket did trip , the whole of house would go off, 🫣
We advised the customer that we would install a new circuit for the kitchen alone , as many appliances would be coming from the kitchen etc .
