A lot has been happening over the past few weeks, including the completion of this large ground-floor installation featuring an intricate, highly detailed layout.

The design incorporates bespoke border work created from 240mm x 1500mm light oak-effect planks, each carefully cut to size, alongside two feature inserts made up of white marble basket weave mosaics with 10mm square grey marble accents. Completing the space are the stunning 900mm x 900mm light oak-effect parquet tiles.

The floor was meticulously planned from the outset, allowing all of the large-format parquet tiles to remain full tiles — with no cuts required.

We still have the grouting to complete, which will be finished in a light cream epoxy grout to seamlessly replicate the joint lines within the parquet tiles themselves.

Recently completed tiling work for this refurbished bathroom, transforming a tired and dated space into a modern bathroom our clients can truly be proud of and enjoy.

The wall and floor tiles were carefully aligned so all grout joints run seamlessly throughout, creating a clean and cohesive finish. Installed using 600mm x 600mm white marble-effect tiles, complemented perfectly with a classic white grout for a timeless look.

Nice job to end the week with cladding an outside wall in slate slips and a great opportunity to top up the tan 😎

It’s always a pleasure installing a natural stone floor. In this instance we are fitting 70 sq m a cross the whole grout floor in a beautiful Jura Grey Limestone in random lengths of 650mm to 900mm x 500mm widths x 20mm thick laid in a random bond. Our custom also wanted slate threshold installed in all door ways (the width of the door frames). We also fitted Durabase decoupling mat prior to tiling.

The floor will be completed the early part of next week after the rest of the tiles have been installed and the grouting and sealing has been completed.

There are a number of processes you have to go through when fitting stone which will include a though wash or 2 to remove all dust off the tiles prior to a first seal before grouting. Once the grout has dried the installed floor will need another thorough was to remove all dust residue before a final seal.

A floor we recently prepped for a developer of ours whom want the floor level bought up by 3mm for a 12mm rubber flooring for a gym area for the floor fitters to fit the rubber flooring next week.

To ensure we kept a 3mm build up consistent across this large floor area we dotted 1sq m bays with 3mm packers across the 40sq m area of the floor.

A job we really enjoyed doing this week in Bedford cladding wall planters in a garden with 5mm x 1500mm x 1000mm porcelain tiles all mitred where the sides meet the tops and on the external corners 🤩

Not quite finished yet but when they are they will be grouted in a colour match epoxy grout 👌
