Bread and jam. Homemade by and enjoyed with the customers. You realise that sharing food and thoughts is so powerful that it needs special acknowledgement sometimes. Slowing down to give thanks for simplicity and delicious goodness. Say yes, to a bit of what you didn't know, that you needed. Customers allowing us to nurture their gardens who in turn want to nurture us. So grateful for the sustenance and company.

Like trains of cars on tracks of plush
I hear the level bee:
A jar across the flower goes,
Their velvet masonry

Withstands until the sweet assault
Their chivalry consumes,
While he, victorious, tilts away
To vanquish other blooms.

His feet are shod with gauze,
His helmet is of gold;
His breast a single onyx
With chrysoprase, inlaid.

His labor is a chant,
His idleness a tune;
Oh, for a bee's experience
Of clovers and of noon

The dreaded box caterpiller has decimated so many Hedges. Today saw the completion of a removal of the infected buxus and replacement with English Yew.
