Another fantastic finish today just off the Crumlin Road, Belfast 🔨🏠

The customer was experiencing ongoing leaks around both chimney breasts, along with a severely rotted dormer roof. After a full inspection, we carried out a complete overhaul to make the roof fully secure and watertight again.

✅ Scaffolding erected for safe access
✅ Removed all rotted battens and deteriorated felt around chimney areas
✅ Installed brand new VP400 breathable felt
✅ Supplied and fitted new battens throughout
✅ Installed new lead flashing to both chimney breasts

✅ Full dormer roof replacement:
• Rebuilt using new 7x1 and 4x2 timber

Another job completed in Bangor today by the HMC team — and what a transformation! 🔥

The customer initially contacted us due to ongoing leaks and mould coming through the ceiling. After a full inspection, it was clear a replacement roof was the best long-term solution — and they trusted us to deliver.

In just 2 days, we:

Another fantastic job completed in Donaghadee today by the HMC team 🔨

Craig called us out to take a look at a leaking chimney breast after being messed around by two previous roofers. He was dealing with serious, high-volume leaks — but we got it sorted properly.

We stripped back the old, damaged tar felt around the chimney breast and removed all deteriorated battens. From there, we installed new breathable felt to the front, sides, and rear, along with fresh battens to fully weatherproof the area.

We also stripped back the poorly applied cement work done by previous companies, removed the chimney pot, installed a new fibre cement board, and re-cemented the area to give it a clean, smooth, and long-lasting finish.

To complete the chimney work, we fitted new lead flashing to the sides and rear, ensuring a durable and watertight seal.

On top of that, we carried out a full eaves upgrade to the front and rear of the property, installing new eaves trays, breathable felt, and battens. We also supplied and fitted a brand new dry ridge system for added strength and protection.

Another fantastic finish from the team at HMC Constructions 👏

We’ve just completed this flat roof project — and what a transformation it was. The original roof was asbestos and leaking from just about everywhere, so this was a full strip-back and rebuild from the ground up.

We brought in a licensed asbestos removal company to safely remove and dispose of the existing sheets. From there, we installed new wall plates, fitted new 5x2 rafters, and laid 18mm OSB boarding to create a solid, reliable structure.

To complete the job, we finished the roof with a high-quality EPDM rubber membrane, giving it a clean, modern, and long-lasting finish.

It takes a well-experienced company to take on a project like this — and we’re proud to say the results speak for themselves. Most importantly, the customer couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Unfortunately, the weather definitely went against us on this one, but we pushed through and delivered a top-quality finish — with the final finishing touches completed this morning, all wrapped up in just a day and a half.

Another job completed today in Lisburn 💪

Mark got in touch with us after having a bad experience with other companies in the past — unfortunately, the previous work just wasn’t up to standard. We were more than happy to step in and put things right.

For this property, we carried out a full eaves upgrade to the front and rear, installing brand-new fascia and fascia boards along with new guttering.

We also discovered the old dry ridge system had been installed incorrectly, so we removed it and fitted a completely new dry ridge system to ensure everything is secure and built to last.

A proper job done the right way this time ✅
